Overview
The “Block Blacklisted IPs” setting of the WP Safe Zone plugin enhances the security of your WordPress site by preventing access from IP addresses that are known to be malicious or unauthorized. This feature allows you to use the list of over 10 million confirmed malicious IPs found on Safe Zone servers. And it scans every traffic entering your site accordingly.Key Features
Automatic IP Blacklisting- Automatically adds IP addresses to the blacklist based on suspicious or malicious activity.
- Blocks all HTTP requests from blacklisted IP addresses, preventing them from accessing any part of the site.
- Allows you to use the list of over 10 million confirmed malicious IPs found on Safe Zone servers. Blacklist Database is updated every day and you get the most up-to-date data.
How to Configure Block Blacklisted IPs
Accessing the Settings
- Navigate to your WordPress dashboard.
- Go to WP Safe Zone > Settings > Firewall Settings .
- Toggle on the Block Blacklisted IPs .

- Monitor Site Activity: Keep an eye on your site’s access logs to identify any suspicious activity that might warrant blacklisting.

Troubleshooting
A Legitimate User is Blocked
- Whitelist the IP: Add the user’s IP address to the whitelist to ensure they are not blocked in the future.
New IP Addresses Are Not Being Blocked
- Ensure the Feature is Enabled: Make sure the Block Blacklisted IPs feature is enabled in the settings.
